One convenience directly available for most of you if your bank /credit union has an online portal is the option to set up automatic bill payments. This way you don't have to worry about getting an envelope/postage, writing a check, and mailing a bill payment to the proper place. All of that is taken care of on the backend.
In this same fashion you can set up an amount that is taken out of your checking and set aside in a savings account. As long as you make sure you have the minimums covered this process saves money and time and is a free resource. Ask your bank/credit union or just search around the portal you can sign in to and start making your life a bit easier.
Remember, this service should still be monitored so if there are any errors you can rectify them, but I would rather double-check something than have to rinse, wash, and repeat a process monthly that can be done digitally.
