Collectables are what I crave. And whenever I start a new Zelda I want to unearth as much as possible. As of this moment I hope this will be the first Zelda I do not consult the Internet to solve. It may be the first time I experience Zelda without picking up a player's guide. If I get seriously stuck, I will check the Internet only after the hype dies down and spoilers are at bay. Otherwise I will move on to the next mountain peak and continue the journey with the only guide being my gut. I'm taking the long way this time, and enjoying the World of Zelda in the reimagined form forever known as Breath of the Wild.
I really enjoy the cooking element in this and think fondly of the same cooking in Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. Except in Breath of the Wild it's like a mega pack expansion on the concept. Collecting lots of items in your almost-infinite backpack is the best feeling because you are one step closer at increasing your potential performance as a player. I like to cook up all kinds of elixers, stews, and potions as well as tasty peppered steak, or mushroom skewers. And don't get me started on my favorite recipe that involves Hyrule Bass!
If you have bought the game and played it, please share your own stories about how Breath of the Wild has been for you. If you are still waiting for it to be delivered/bought/whatever I hope the extra wait made it all the sweeter in the end.
I'm short, sweet, and thankful for avocados ☺
